Forty percent stress is laid on academic management and sixty percent of total curriculum is earmarked for different activities to generate learning excitement in beginners.
Experiential Learning
Attaining the core literacy and numeracy skills is essential, but too is the application of these skills in experiential based learning scenarios where children learn by doing. Our experiential learning approach draws elements from the philosophy of early learning that recognizes the importance of the voice of the child and the importance of learning through experiencing, exploring and interacting. Our classroom and experienced faculty provide opportunities to learn by doing, take risks and apply new skills to ensure that every child is stimulated and challenged to achieve its best.
Stimulating Environment
Our physical surroundings have a profound impact on our capacity to learn, our architecturally designed classrooms are light filled and technologically rich, which offer exciting learning opportunities to every child. We offer an inspiring academic culture, a happy environment that values creative and diverse thinking, and plenty of room to run, play, explore, invent, and imagine.
Strong Foundation
Fundamental to learning at this stage is the establishment of highly proficient literacy and numeracy skills to support the development of critical thinking, deep learning and higher order conceptual understandings. Through our differentiated teaching, we understand your child’s areas of strength and weakness and then provide opportunities for each child to be challenged and stimulated in its journey of learning.
Our playschool program uses hands-on exploration and social interaction in safe and engaging surroundings to help your child learn about his or her expanding world. Under the guidance of our trained teachers, kids enjoy learning experiences that promote their blossoming independence and social skills, and foster self-confidence. At Xavier’s, we believe playing time is learning time. This program is designed to adapt the curriculum to each individual child’s age and stage. Teachers in the classroom promote emotional, physical, social, and intellectual development in a fun, engaging environment by targeting the changing needs of children. It helps to nurture each individual child to build upon his or her strengths and encourages exploration of their world.
